Gramp Fisher always said “Say what you mean and mean what you say”. Little did I know as a boy how these words would shape my life and also serve as a guide professionally as well as personally.

Sarah and I had both been through much in life when we met. She grew up on a beef cattle farm in Ashburnham, Massachusetts where her parents not only had professional careers in education and construction, but also a full time labor of love on the farm. Long days and constant challenges were something Sarah would grow accustomed to at an early age. Those teachings would serve her well as she achieved her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and had a successful career prior to making a pivot into the financial planning world. Sarah’s love of the outdoors and animals is something that binds us together. Serving the community and her family is something that Sarah makes look easy with her grace and humility.

I grew up in Bennington, Vermont and spent many days hunting and fishing as a boy. My parents divorced when I was 6 but they always showed me unconditional love and always worked hard to make my well being priority number one. My grandfather William Fisher, who was a WWII Army Veteran, would play a big role in shaping my future. At the age of 18, I enlisted in the USAF as an F-16 Tactical Fighter Crew Chief. Those years serving our country and being deployed prepared me for the struggles that would find me later in life. Divorce, bankruptcy, and job loss all happened in 2004, so the decision to move back to New England and be closer to family was no longer a choice.

I then spent a decade traveling to nearly 60 countries in the corporate aviation world. Flying with top corporate executives was no longer lighting my fire, so I took a leap of faith to a new career entirely when I became a financial advisor in 2013. Sarah would follow in 2019 and together we formed Hemlock Creek Wealth Management, LLC in 2021. Those words of Gramp Fisher serve as a foundation to how we serve others; being good stewards of the trust bestowed upon us is paramount for our team. Knowing our “why” and living into that clarity has not only served us well but also our clients and friends. We loathe being a “number” when we are spending our hard earned dollars or partnering with someone, and for that very reason we run a practice that’s focused deeply on relationships and not volume.

We live in Hancock, New Hampshire with our three younger children Fisher, Anika and Bodi. My daughters Hailey and Emma are both out of school and in the workforce and college. We love spending summers on Lake Champlain in Vermont boating and fishing but when the leaves start to turn we change course back to NH, cutting wood and working on our Hemlock Creek Hideaway. We have Lewellin Setters that we occasionally breed and hunt with, but more often than not our pups are busy chasing our kids, squirrels and butterflies!

For us, work and home life become one as we so enjoy what we do professionally. We love our country, our family and the people we serve. We have a deep faith in God and will give our best to all that entrust us with what they have worked so hard for in life!

Life sure has given me plenty of unique opportunities to grow, learn, and develop my perspective! I grew up the daughter of a police officer and I am beyond grateful for both of my parents who love me unconditionally and have always supported me in all that I do. One might think that having a father who puts on a uniform with that tough exterior could be difficult for many reasons, but my father Paul is actually the epitome of servant leadership. He is and always has been the man in my life that shows through his actions what being a humble servant leader means.

My three boys; Marty, Rocco, and Jacoby are as different as the seasons are, yet they share that special bond of brothers and have been the rock that anchors me in all the decisions I make. Having spent over 20 years managing the office of a small local business, it would be safe to say I don’t like change. However, I will always embrace it if that very change will have a positive impact on my family. That change came in 2019 when I had the opportunity to partner with Nick and Sarah to serve our community and many others across the country by helping them with what their clients have worked so hard for financially.

Our clients and the people we serve often come to us with a large weight on their shoulders. It could be directly financial or it could be a profound life event. I wake up everyday looking forward to spending time connecting with my team at work as well as the wonderful families we serve. Many of those very people, including my team, now refer to me as the “Ginga Ninja” as I keep things on track and organized.

That being said, it's the title of “mom” that will forever be the one I cherish most! Spending time at hockey games, along with many other events that my boys are a part of mean everything to me. Every day I work to grow and become a better version of myself. Being outdoors and surrounded by the people I love most means more to me than any material possession. The lessons I’ve learned by watching the very actions of my mom and dad have shaped me into who I am today, and I feel strongly that the humility, unconditional love, and grit they showed me will always flow through to the very people I serve whether they are family or clients.
