Hemlock Creek Wealth Management Advisors Earn Exit Planning Credentials
September 17, 2025

Hemlock Creek Wealth Management, an independent financial planning and wealth management firm, has enhanced its ability to serve the business, personal, and financial needs of owners of privately held companies by investing in the education and training of Founding Partners Nick Davis and Sarah Davis. Both earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) credential and are now part of the Exit Planning Institute’s specialized group of business advisors. The CEPA program is the most widely accepted and endorsed professional exit planning program in the world.
“As small business owners ourselves, Sarah and I intimately understand the unique challenges, opportunities, and financial needs that come with owning a privately held company,” says Nick Davis, Founding Partner. “We’re excited to enhance and formalize our ability to serve other business owners as CEPAs.”
Through this additional training, the team at Hemlock Creek Wealth Management seeks to help business owners better align their personal goals with the long-term vision and strategy for their business.
The CEPA® designation is offered by the Exit Planning Institute and is designed for business advisors who work closely with owners of privately held companies. CEPAs specialize in aligning the business, personal, and financial objectives in preparation for eventual business transitions for the individuals they serve. To earn the CEPA credential, Nick and Sarah completed the rigorous five-day program that involved about 100 hours of pre-course study, 30 hours of classroom instruction, and the successful completion of a three-hour proctored exam.
Earning the CEPA designation reflects an advisor’s additional education in exit planning concepts. It does not imply any level of skill or training beyond that required for other professional designations.
